Rising with Hope: Easter and the Spirit of Jubilee

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.” – Luke 24: 5

Easter isn’t just an event – it’s an invitation. An invitation to rise again with purpose, with joy, and above
all, with hope.

As Term 2 begins, many of us return a little tired, a little stretched, and maybe wondering how to keep
the spark alive. But Easter reminds us: hope is alive. Christ is risen – and so are we.

This year, the Church calls us to be Pilgrims of Hope in the Year of Jubilee. Pilgrims don’t want for perfect
conditions. They walk anyway. And hope isn’t just wishful thinking – it’ choosing to believe that new life
is possible, even when things feel heavy.

So where do we see Resurrection hope in our school?
• In the teacher who refuses to give up on a student.
• In the shared laughter after a long day.
• In staffroom prayers, quiet kindness, and moments of unexpected joy.

Easter isn’t just a date on a calendar. It’s a mindset. A movement. A mission.

Let’s live it – together.

He is risen. Hope is alive. And we are people of the Resurrection.

Happy Easter!
